The Corolla Cross is fitted with a powertrain configuration that marries power with efficiency, and performance with responsibility. All options are front-wheel driven and are powered by a four-cylinder, direct-injection 1.8-litre petrol engine. This all-rounder produces a maximum power of 103kw at 6400RPM and peak torque of 172 Nm at 4000 RPM, giving you the power you need on those uphills on the way to school or even on your weekend off-road trip.
Toyota also offers the Corolla Cross in an economical petrol hybrid derivative so you can beat these pesky petrol price hikes. With hybrid technology automatically managing outputs of the petrol engine and electric motor to optimise efficiency, the hybrid achieves average fuel consumption of a mere 4.3 l/100 km; and carbon dioxide emissions of 98 g/km!.
